CN'R Lawn N' Landscape - Landscaping Decorative RockProject Feature - Boulder Wall

Project Information

In June of 2008, C N' R tackled a homeowner's boulder wall extension job: On the west side of the property, there was an existing boulder wall that C N' R had to add a top row for more durability for holding plants/shrubs in, etc. The wall was not built tall enough in the first place. On the East side of the property, there was an existing boulder wall that was not made long enough and therefore, erosion was occurring and pine trees in that landscaped bed were struggling due to the loss of moisture and earth.

Below are some before, during and after shots of both the East wall in this project. This wall was more of a major project with a lot of difficulty and risk due to the fact that we could not access the wall from the 'front' but rather from the side as we built it. The task was to add to an existing wall to retain an area because it was eroding.
